Our aim is to preserve the history of Dymchurch and District for future generations
The Dymchurch and District Heritage Group (DDHG) was formed in January 2010 after an initial meeting in the previous October where we asked the villagers their thoughts on forming a Heritage Group. The response was fantastic and we have gone from strength to strength with a strong membership.
In this short time we have been live on Meridian News when we placed a time capsule in the new Sea Wall. We produced a Pictorial Exhibition of Dymchurch in the Plater Hall at the time of the opening ceremony of the Sea Wall which was performed by Lord Chris Smith.
We also assisted Epiphany Productions for the Yesterday TV Channel with the programme "The Germans are coming" where our President, John Coker played a starring role.
You can contact us by email.
