Events 2 July 2017

Date: 2 Jul 2017

Time: 5.00pm - picnic / 6.30pm - performance

Snargate Narropera

Bring your own picnic to this rustic Glyndebourne-style occasion and enjoy the beauty of the Romney Marsh.  Then relax in the peace of the church and listen to the arias of Der Frieschutz. "The Devil's Marksman" (Der Freischutz - 1821) is justifiably the most popular German opera in history.

Narrated opera (narropera) weaves Weber's instantly appealing music through its gripping, Grimm-Brothers-like folk-tale.

Please see the attached flyer and refer to our Facebook page @snargatenarropera for more details.
