JAM on the Marsh: Children’s Sunday

http://www.jamconcert.org/event/kids-event/

Another first for JAM on the Marsh: a mini-festival within the festival, especially designed around the community and its children. In keeping with the main festival, this will be a multi-art event, featuring music, art, theatre, story-telling and bugs!

Jump on a free steam train from New Romney station and hop off at the Romney Marsh Visitors Centre. Bring an instrument and some music and perform in our first Come and Play session, accompanied by festival Curator Daniel Cook in the relaxed café; let bugs roam over your hands; create collages and masks based on the bugs that you meet; come and create a story based around the world-famous Romney Hythe & Dymchurch Railway and the Railway Children with Bounce Theatre, and MUCH more… There’s a BBQ serving delicious food too. Older visitors can enjoy ‘down time’ by visiting the three exhibitions and the café at the Romney Marsh Visitor Centre, throughout the day.

All the events are free, but please note that there is LIMITED AVAILABILITY for the Bug Man sessions and the Bounce Theatre session. Please call 0800 988 7984 to reserve your place.
