Friends Of Dymchurch Recreation Ground

Dymchurch recreation ground is located off St Mary's Road in Dymchurch, just past the level crossing on the left. It is used for many leisure activities, including football.

Friends of Dymchurch Rec are a Registered Charity (No. 1185877 ) was set up in 2019 to promote for the benefit of the inhabitants of Dymchurch and the surrounding area the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, financial hardship or social and economic circumstances or for the public at large in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving the condition of life of the said inhabitants.

Recently, Dymchurch Parish Council has been exploring possible development sites in Dymchurch village, including the Dymchurch Recreation ground. The grounds were sold to the parish council by local residents with the sole intention of it being used for recreational purposes. A number of concerned village residents have formed a community group 'Friends of Dymchurch Rec' to;
