Coach House Coffee Shop

The Coach House Coffee Shop provides a wide range of sandwiches, cakes and hot snacks including jacket potatoes, home made soup, lasagne, toasted sandwiches, bacon and sausage baguettes. The sandwiches are made fresh everyday, using their own cooked meat all their own fillings, and all the cakes are homemade. They also have an extensive range of homemade food; for a full menu please visit their website. They sell a full range of Italian coffees and hot chocolate. All products are also available for take away. They can also provide sandwich platters, canapés and cake platters for any occasion, big or small. Opening times are: Mon to Sat: 8.00am to 5.00pm and Sun 9.00am to 3.00pm

Costa Coffee

Costa Coffee outlet in New Romney High Street. Open 6.30am to 7pm Monday to Friday, 7am to 7pm on Saturday and 8am to 6pm on Sunday.

Deblyns Teashop

Deblyns is a traditional teashop and courtyard garden located in New Romney Hight Street. Run by sisters Lynn and Deb, Deblyns offers early morning snacks, teas & coffee, light lunches, afternoon tea, homemade cakes & scones, traditional cream teas, special ‘Vintage’ afternoon teas, children’s teas and tea parties for special occasions. Summer opening times are: Tuesday to Saturday 9am to 4.30pm

Dessert Avenue

Newly opened September 2017 serving sundaes, ice cream, waffles, crepes, cakes, milkshakes. Offers a modern twist on traditional afternoon tea. A selection of finger sandwiches, petit fours, macarons. Scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam and a choice of refillable teas. £11.00 per head. Booking required.

Heywood Buffet

Cafe at the New Romney station on the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway. Serves hot and cold drinks and a selection of snacks.

Jo's Cafe

Jo's cafe is located just off the A259 between New Romney and Rye. Summer opening hours are: Weekdays 8am to 3pm. Weekends & BHs 8am to 4pm

Lathe Barn

Lathe Barn tea rooms is where you can sample good old-fashioned food prepared to a very high standard. Enjoy light lunches of crispy salads, jacket potatoes, ploughman's with warm crusty bread and a selection of toasted sandwiches. Follow this with one of their ice-cream sundae's or delicious homemade puddings. Afternoon teas of home baked scones and cakes, free-range eggs, local strawberries and ice-cold milk shakes are a real treat. Special children's teas are available for younger visitors.

Light Railway Cafe

The 'Light Railway Café' at Dungeness RH&DR Station is open every day the trains are running and, during the winter, on Saturdays and Sundays (10.00am to 3.30pm). Famous for its locally sourced Fish, the cafe serves a full menu along with snacks, confectionery and beverages.

Mary's Tea Rooms

Mary's Tea Rooms is what we imagine an English tea room should be; not a cafe, not a restaurant but a tea room in the true sense. Lace embroiidered tablecloths, china tea cups and saucers, a beautiful white Welsh dresser, pastel walls with low white ceilings makes this an enjoyable and pleasant place to visit. Opening times are: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday: 10am to 4pm: Saturday and Sunday : 11am to 4pm. Closed on Tuesday.

Oasis Cafe

Oasis Cafe is a traditional English cafe run by a team of catering professionals in Old Romney.
